NZME connects with Eveve

NZME connects with Eveve to create New Zealand’s largest online restaurant booking network

3 May 2016 – NZME has strengthened its support of the restaurant sector by entering a strategic partnership with Eveve NZ, providers of restaurant booking software that operates the online restaurant booking website Restaurant Hub . The strategic partnership will provide New Zealand consumers with access to the best online booking experience while ensuring more people are aware of the website’s services as a result of NZME’s extensive reach says NZME’s Group Director ECommerce, Richard Harrison.

“NZME’s digital reach is in excess of two million people a month* resulting in more consumers being exposed to Restaurant Hub than any other dining site in New Zealand. The partnership has already borne fruit, with the newly launched Restaurant Hub Platinum program. This program connects NZME consumers with a series of exclusive and bespoke dining experiences from a selection of Eveve’s leading restaurants.”

Managing Director and co-owner of Eveve New Zealand, Mark Gregory says that the partnership will be hugely beneficial for restaurants using their booking software because NZME is already a trusted source of content for both restaurants and consumers.

“With restaurant reviews and food features across their brands such as The New Zealand Herald, Viva and Canvas, NZME is recognised as major drivers of dining choice. In addition to this you have their ability to talk to so many people across NZME’s network be it online, through publishing and on radio, which is very exciting. There will be significant marketing opportunities as a result of the relationship. We’re hugely excited about the proposition we will be able to offer consumers but also the restaurants that use our software and are on our Restaurant Hub website.”

Harrison says NZME is very supportive of the restaurant sector and says the strategic partnership with Eveve will mean a leading range of dining experiences will be conveniently available to consumers to book and drive business directly into the participating restaurants.

“We know that our food and beverage content is seen as a trusted source. Our relationship with Eveve will let us deliver a range of new experiences for our consumers, and we look forward to working even more closely on marketing opportunities with our restaurant partners. It also reaffirms our ongoing support while signalling the significant growth potential that we believe the hospitality industry has ahead of it.”

Gregory agrees; “This partnership enables us build on our strategic vision of creating the best restaurant marketing and booking network in New Zealand. Restaurant Hub has a national reach with restaurant numbers across the country building including in the Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown markets. We see further opportunity arising from connecting our restaurants to NZME’s fantastic F&B audience, and we believe this partnership represents a change for building an instantly confirmed booking experience for all of our restaurants”.
