Matty Ma shines again at the 2015/2016 Northern End of Year Awards

Focus, hard work and a commitment to her clients has seen Matty Ma named as the top real estate sales consultant in Auckland and Northland once again.

Albany-based Matty Ma was recognised as number one at the 2015/2016 End of Year Awards for New Zealand’s largest real estate group, Harcourts.

Matty has consistently placed in the Harcourts’ Top 20 chart over the past 13 years, and has ranked number one in the Northern Region for five out of the past six years. She has also reigned as the top Harcourts sales consultant internationally for the past three years.

Harcourts CEO Chris Kennedy says there are very few people with a work ethic like Matty.

“Matty is an incredibly successful business women and one of the top real estate sales consultant in New Zealand. She has won the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand’s top sales consultant for the country twice. It takes a lot of hard work, seven days a week to achieve that level of success.

“Something else that says a lot about Matty is the number of her clients that refer her on to their friends and family. Infact 95% of Matty’s business is repeat and referral. That’s the key to success, when you provide service so outstanding to every single client that they recommend you to others.”

Matty, who was a futures broker and journalist in China, has worked hard to establish excellent relations with investors and new immigrants.

She says she feels a big responsibility to represent Harcourts in the best way possible and she and her team go the extra distance for every single client.

“I believe in working extremely hard for every single client. Every deal is important and requires your full effort and attention. I’m also very grateful to my team, who support my business and without whom I couldn’t operate at the high level I do.”

Matty is also the top performing rural sales consultant in the Northern Region, thanks to the many rural listings in the Albany area. The Albany office has also become one of Harcourts’ top national offices for revenue.

Other top ranking Harcourts sales consultants for 2015/2016 were Nicky Malloy of Henderson Heights (2nd) and Karl Vermeulen of Howick (3rd).

The top performing NAI Harcourts commercial sales consultant for the Northern Region is Jon Whisker who is based in Auckland Central.

Jon says there is no secret to his success.

“I have a great team of people around me. I’m straight with my clients and I work hard for them.”

It’s a formula that works as most of Jon’s business is repeat or referral and he has clients all over Auckland.

The top property manager for the region is Lizzie Simanke of Cooper & Co Real Estate Limited.

Lizzie, who manages properties throughout Auckland’s North Shore, says has a wonderful team who will sometimes work seven days a week to provide outstanding service to their clients.

The regional Harcourts 2015/2016 End of Year Awards precede the National Awards event to be held at the upcoming Harcourts Annual Conference at Auckland’s SKYCITY on 24h-25st of June. It is the largest real estate conference in New Zealand.

This year’s Northern Region 2015/2016 End of Year award winners:
