Tradestaff dominates New Zealand recruitment awards

Tradestaff staff members are very proud after their business was nominated in four categories in the premier New Zealand recruitment awards.

The Christchurch-based company has been named as finalist in four categories by the Recruitment and Consulting Service Association (Australia and New Zealand) with the New Zealand winners to be announced at a gala dinner in Auckland on June 16.

Tradestaff has been named as a finalist in the Excellence in Candidate Care, and Excellence in Client Service categories, as well as nominated in the McLean H&S Award as part of its collaboration with other Canterbury agencies through the Labour On-Hire Forum.

To top off the company’s success, Claire Pattinson was also announced as a finalist for the PEARL Professional Recruiter of the Year.

The Queenstown-based consultant was selected for her innovative approach, her leadership and mentoring roles, as well as her tireless efforts to educate the local business community and her candidates on Health and Safety.

Tradestaff managing director Kevin Eder was delighted when the nominations were announced.

“We decided to enter the New Zealand awards this year to match ourselves against the best in the country, but we never expected to be named as finalists in so many categories,” said Mr Eder.

“We are very proud of how our teams work with and for our clients and our candidates from day to day, so it is wonderful to get this recognition.”

Mr Eder said Tradestaff has been operating for over 20 years and his team take huge pride in making every client and every temp they work with feel valued and appreciated.

The winners of the RCSA New Zealand awards will be announced in Auckland on June 16 at a gala event with 180 representatives from around the industry and Mr Eder said he would host a group of his staff who are looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere.

“Naturally, we hope our name will be called out, but even if we don’t take any top prizes, these four nominations are enough reason to celebrate.”
