Hurricanes are backing bucqi!

Hurricanes are backing bucqi!

The Hurricanes can truly say that new sponsor bucqi has their back in 2016.

Wellington’s innovative and exciting new app bucqi has become a key partner in the Hurricanes family of sponsors and the team will proudly wear the company logo on the back of their jerseys for the remainder of the season.

Hurricanes players have started to appear at numerous bucqi promotions, in radio campaigns, and at signing sessions at selected bucqi merchants across Wellington city over the past few weeks.

Launched on April 1, bucqi is the only dollar-for-dollar rewards programme in New Zealand and Wellingtonians are quickly realizing the benefits it can bring! Since launching in the capital, more than 400 consumers have downloaded the digital rewards app and around a quarter of merchants have had at least one bucqi transaction. There are currently over 50 bucqi merchants across the city and this is set to grow as the innovative digital mobile rewards app continues to gain momentum.

Powered by Bartercard – the largest listed Global Trade Exchange – bucqi, is a national rewards programme designed for small to medium sized businesses as a way to reward their customers and it’s starting to revolutionize the way consumers, clubs, charities and businesses interact.

Hurricanes commercial manager Leighton Morgan said he was delighted to be backing the exciting new brand.

“It’s great for the city of Wellington to have been chosen for the launch and the Hurricanes are thrilled to be partnering such an innovative concept. It’s a win-win situation – the consumer is rewarded, while increased cash business is driven to those participating merchants. For us, it’s about raising awareness of the brand and the fact that sports clubs and not-for-profit organizations can benefit from bucqi as the app makes it easy to raise funds. Who wouldn’t want to be part of it?”

To find out how you can get more bang for your bucq as a consumer or how bucqi can help boost your business, visit bucqi.co.nz or simple download the free bucqi app.
