Preet & Co expands to Ellerslie

Preet & Co expands to Ellerslie

20 June, 2016

Harcourts fastest growing franchise, Preet & Co, is continuing its expansion with the acquisition of Harcourts Ellerslie.

This brings Preet & Co up to four offices – Manukau, Botany, Otahuhu and now Ellerslie.

Owner Preet Grewal says he was thrilled when the opportunity came up to purchase the Ellerslie office from long time business owner John Redward.

“With the rapid growth in the Otahuhu and Mt Wellington areas, expanding our business into Ellerslie is the right move for us.

“When we explored the options for expanding our business, the Ellerslie office met our criteria of being at the centre of the community, something that is important to us as a group.”

John has been with Harcourts Ellerslie for over 16 years and is now moving towards semi-retirement.

However, he is not ready to give up being a part of the Harcourts family just yet.

He will continue to run Hub Realty as a residential property management business from a new premise in Penrose.

“I am excited to be handing over ownership of the Ellerslie office and the residential sales business to Preet. He’s a real visionary and he takes very good care of his team. I’m thrilled my sales people are staying with him.”

Preet says the existing Ellerslie staff will be a valued part of the Preet & Co team.

“It’s a tribute to John that we take over an established office with experienced sales consultants who know their market.”

The newly rebranded Harcourts Ellerslie office is located on the main road of the village, 107 Main Highway.

Around 9,000 people live in Ellerslie (2013 Census), including many young families (80%). The Ellerslie village is the focal point of the community, with over 120 businesses located there.

Mr Grewal says Ellerslie is a beautiful community and he and Preet & Co are looking forward to becoming an integral part of it.
