Silver Chef Leads Industry into Virtual Reality
Specialist hospitality equipment funder Silver Chef has raised the bar for industry innovation with the introduction of a brand new virtual reality platform allowing prospective customers to literally ‘step inside’ their future business.
The company is the first in New Zealand to use the video technology which literally places the budding business owner in their very own bustling café or restaurant, enabling them to look through the kitchen and view hospitality equipment needed for a new business.
Debuting at Fine Food NZ in Auckland (June 26-28), Silver Chef believe the new virtual reality programme will spark interest in their business tenfold based off the results achieved at Fine Food Sydney and Brisbane.
“We achieved $60,000 in applications directly after the launch of our virtual reality programme in Sydney and Brisbane, so expect to see some pretty significant results in New Zealand as well,” says Silver Chef’s Marketing Manager, Toni Firth.
Firth believes the success of the programme in Australia is due to the fact that it offers potential customers a unique insight into what actually goes into setting up and running a restaurant – something, which until now has never been brought to life through virtual reality at a trade event.
“Not only does the technology allow prospective customers to view rental equipment in a real-life restaurant as well as a café, but it also offers them a captivating experience, which helps make a new restaurant or café feel more achievable,” says Firth.
With hospitality one of the fastest growing start-up industries in New Zealand, industry-leader Silver Chef is committed to educating prospective business owners and turning their business dreams into reality.
“We believe this new virtual reality programme will help educate our customers on what is needed to fit out a restaurant or cafe and also what level of equipment investment they would need to bring their prospective business to life,” conclude Firth.
The virtual reality programme will launch in New Zealand at the Silver Chef stand at Fine Food NZ, 26th – 28th June, ASB Showgrounds, Auckland.
