Carolyn Robinson joins Seven Sharp

Carolyn Robinson joins Seven Sharp

Former Mediaworks presenter Carolyn Robinson will join Seven Sharp as a reporter, stepping in for Matt Chisholm while he films Survivor New Zealand.

Robinson is no stranger to New Zealand households. The journalist and presenter worked at TVNZ many years ago, before going on to host TV3’s Nightline and later, 3 News as a weekend anchor. She also hosted the factual series What’s Really In Our Food?

On returning to TVNZ, Robinson says, “It’s really exciting to be stepping into a role at Seven Sharp. The team there is fantastic, and I can’t wait to reunite with the show’s Executive Producer, Antony Stevens, who I worked with on 3 News for a couple of years.”

TVNZ’s Head of News & Current Affairs, John Gillespie says, “A great reporter, presenter and writer, Carolyn is the perfect choice for Seven Sharp. We look forward to her joining TVNZ as Matt puts his survival instincts to the test.”

Robinson starts later this month.

Seven Sharp airs weeknights at 7pm on TV ONE. Survivor New Zealand will air on TV2 at a later date.
