Harcourts’ excellence celebrated at real estate awards

27 July 2016

The best of the best in Harcourts NZ was celebrated at the REINZ Awards for excellence.

Harcourts sales consultants and offices took home six awards on the night, recognised for their excellent performance and commitment to customer service across residential and commercial sales as well as property management.

Harcourts Cooper & Co on Auckland’s North Shore took home the award for Medium Agency of the Year (all disciplines), while Lizzie Simanke, also of Cooper & Co was named Property Manager of the year.

The awards mark a continuation of a successful year for Cooper & Co which was named Harcourts’ number one franchise internationally in May.

For owner Martin Cooper the key to the franchise’s on-going success is creating a great culture within the business, underpinned by a sound structure and good systems.

“And you have to have good managers who can inspire and uplift their team to achieve personal bests.”

Harcourts Grenadier Accommodation Centre in Christchurch was named top Large Property Management Office of the Year.

Owner Nigel Bowden says there aren’t any secrets to his business’ success. “Doing well is about putting people first, and it is about setting high standards, being calm and positive, and being all over the detail, every day.

“We have a culture of achievement and working for the best results for our clients, and if we do that, then the rest should just follow.
