The Homestyle Collective opens first Christchurch store.
The Homestyle Collective Ltd will be opening their first Christchurch store next week in Barrington Mall, Spreydon.
Previously known only to their online customers, the Homestyle Collective will now be bringing their contemporary blend of international and locally sourced homeware, kitchenware, art, jewellery and gifts to the local market.
“We are thrilled to be opening our new Christchurch store and to be able to play a part in the revitalisation of the city” says owner Melissa Holland. Melissa, who grew up in Christchurch, says their recent acquisition of "The Cat’s Pyjama’s” business in Barrington Mall has allowed them to bring forward the opening of their first Christchurch store and that there is further expansion coming. "We love Barrington Mall and felt it was a great fit for our brand." says Melissa, "And we're not stopping there, in addition to this new store we are looking to have at least one more outlet in Christchurch within the next twelve months.”
Starting as web based store selling local crafts and jewellery the business has grown it's supply chain and now includes modern and classic homeware and artwork aimed at the quality conscious consumer. “We want our customers to know that when they buy from The Homestyle Collective that they will be getting the best products at great prices. Repeat customers are one of the cornerstones of our business”.
As well as sourcing well-known brands such as Moana Rd, Bialetti, Umbra, Anna Nova and UBU, The Homestyle Collective also partners with local artists and manufacturers to give shoppers access to a rich selection of quality, locally produced products. “We love working with talented people and helping them bring their products to market” says Melissa.
The store will have a special preview opening to the public between 5:00pm and 7:00pm on Wednesday August 3rd, complete with drinks and canapes and the chance to win prizes.
