Countdown kicks off new partnership with AA Smartfuel

Fill ‘er up as Countdown kicks off new partnership with AA Smartfuel

400 service stations nationwide can now redeem Countdown fuel vouchers

1 August 2016: From today Countdown fuel vouchers can be redeemed with AA Smartfuel partners BP and Caltex*.

Countdown fuel vouchers can also be redeemed with Gull*, bringing the total number of service stations where Countdown fuel vouchers can be redeemed to over 400, up from 260 service stations previously.

AA Smartfuel is the nation's leading fuel discount programme. Later this year Countdown customers will have the opportunity to accumulate AA Smartfuel discounts while shopping at Countdown.

Countdown’s Head of Loyalty Susan D’lima says the partnership with AA Smartfuel is another way Countdown helps New Zealanders save money every day.

“We’re proud to offer Kiwis low prices every day on their groceries. Now we’re thrilled to be teaming up with AA Smartfuel to offer savings on fuel at more locations nationwide to make life that little bit easier,” says Ms D’lima.

“We will be letting our customers know more about the AA Smartfuel partnership soon.”

Fuel vouchers issued at SuperValue and FreshChoice supermarkets from 1 August will be redeemable at Gull service stations as well as AA Smartfuel partners BP and Caltex.

Customers will still be able to redeem Countdown fuel vouchers issued up to and including 31 July at Z Energy until the expiry date printed on their voucher.
