Spark New Zealand appoints David Chalmers as Chief Financial Officer
Spark New Zealand announce today the appointment of David Chalmers as its new Chief Financial Officer. He will be a member of the Spark Leadership Team, reporting to Managing Director Simon Moutter.
Chalmers will succeed Jolie Hodson, who, as announced earlier in the year, is moving from her current CFO role to become CEO of Spark Digital, the business unit supporting Spark’s corporate and government customers.
Chalmers was Chief Financial Officer for Mediaworks where he recently assumed the role of interim Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Mediaworks, he held a number of senior financial and general management roles with iSelect Limited, DuluxGroup Limited and Macquarie Capital.
“We are excited to have David join our Leadership Team. He’s a talented financial executive with significant international experience,” commented Simon Moutter.
Chalmers is expected to take up his appointment later in the year.
