Experienced Lawyer Brian Geary joins Stephens Lawyers

Wellington law firm Stephens Lawyers today announced that Brian Geary of Brian Geary Law Office has merged his practice with Stephens Lawyers and will practice from their offices at 89 The Terrace, Wellington.

Brian Geary has over 45 years’ experience as a barrister and solicitor and specialises in property, commercial, family trusts, immigration, and wills and estates.

Stephens Lawyers Managing Director Michael Stephens said, “Brian has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and is held in high particularly high regard by his clients and professional colleagues. We are pleased that he has chosen to merge his practice with Stephens Lawyers.”

Brian has a LLB from Otago University, a Diploma of Business Administration and a Diploma of Corporate Management from Victoria University of Wellington. He is a member of the NZ Law Society and an associate member of the Auckland District Law Society, and past president of the Corporate Lawyers Association and former member of Chartered Secretaries New Zealand Inc. (now Governance New Zealand).

Michael Stephens said, “Brian joins the firm as a consultant, enabling him to provide advice and counsel to his clients supported by his associates at Stephens Lawyers. We look forward to welcoming his clients to the firm.”
