Nominations open for the 2016 People’s Choice Tourism Award

Now’s the time to show some love for your favourite tourism provider by nominating them for the 2016 People’s Choice Tourism Award. Whether it’s your favourite restaurant, accommodation provider or activity make sure they are in the running to take out this coveted title.

Sponsored by The Hits radio station, the People's Choice Tourism Award will honour one Hawke’s Bay Tourism operator that receives the most nominations for providing a fantastic visitor experience as voted by the public. People can nominate any tourism business in the region including accommodation, restaurants and tourism attractions.

Nominations are now open via The Hits website. This is your chance to support your favourite local tourism provider and help them take out top spot as The Hits People’s Choice.

The 10 businesses with the most nominations will be announced on Wednesday 28th September and the ultimate winner will be announced by Martin and Sarah at the 2016 Hawke’s Bay Tourism Industry Awards on the 29th of September.

The Hawke’s Bay Tourism Industry Awards will be a glamourous affair, celebrating all the talented people and organisation that make up our industry. A semi-formal ceremony announcing the winners will take place at MTG theatre followed by drinks, nibbles and a knees-up at Emporium Restaurant and Bar to keep the celebration going.

Everyone who votes for their favourite tourism provider will go in the draw to win an amazing weekend retreat including 2 nights’ accommodation in a Millar Road Luxury Villa including breakfast and a bottle of supernatural wine valued at $1200.
