ASG E-Guard changes its name to ASG Technologies

Auckland based technology incubator ASG E-Guard Limited has changed its name to ASG Technologies (www.asgtechnologies.co) to better align with its core purpose of innovation.

ASG Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of TPT Group Holdings and is a sister company to nationwide security integrator Advanced Security Group.

The entity was formed in late 2014 and is charged with finding innovative ways to develop existing and emerging technologies into capabilities that can deliver enhanced outcomes for customers. The company is future-focussed and looks to find new ways of leveraging the Group’s inherent capabilities through new technologies and partnerships.

Over the past 24 months ASG technologies have developed software as a service (SaaS) products for the security sector and is developing drone/UAV technology and applications. Several products have now birthed into commercial products with Advanced Security taking on the Secure Host SaaS product and two new businesses established, Asset Insight Limited and VigilAir Limited.

Asset Insight Limited utilises smart drone/UAV technology for the inspection of infrastructure and assets while VigilAir is a new business to launch the VigilAir SaaS product which integrates drones with electronic security systems. The VigilAir SaaS product is the first of its kind globally and has the potential to significantly disrupt the global security industry.
