Communications Minister Amy Adams to address 2016 iSANZ Awards

Media release – 16 September 2016

(Sent on behalf of the iSANZ Board)

The Board of iSANZ (Information Security Awards New Zealand) is pleased to announce that Communications Minister Hon Amy Adams will deliver an address at the upcoming 2016 iSANZ Awards.

Now in its second year, the iSANZ Awards are an annual showcase of New Zealand’s world class information security industry. The Awards promote excellence in information security by publicly recognising the achievements of the best of the country’s information security professionals and companies.

This year, the iSANZ Awards will be held on 15 November 2016 at Te Papa, Wellington.

iSANZ Chair Kendra Ross says the Awards are shaping up to be a banner event and encourages all those doing interesting and innovative things in the information / cyber security space to enter before the close-off date of 26 September 2016.

Entries are open in four categories – Best Security Awareness Campaign, Best Security Company of the Year, Best Security Project / Initiative and Best International Superstar.

As well as this, nominations are open in the iSANZ Hall of Fame category, which recognises a person, event or company who has made a significant contribution (above and beyond the normal standards and qualities / legacy outcomes) to the wider InfoSec community.

Entry information, including category descriptions, judging criteria, entry rules and entry form can be found at www.isanz.org.nz.
