Deloitte Fast 50 regional winners announced

22 September 2016

Media Release

Deloitte Fast 50 regional winners announced

National Fast 50 index to be unveiled 16 November

The regional category winners and regional Rising Stars of the 2016 Deloitte Fast 50 were announced last night* at cocktail events held around the country.

The national Deloitte Fast 50 index, national category winners and national Rising Star will be unveiled as part of the Deloitte Festival of Fast Growth, to be held in Auckland on 16 November 2016.

Deloitte Private partner Bill Hale says the high level of diversity among this year’s regional winners shows any type of business, from anyplace in New Zealand, can do well with the right approach.

“These companies live and breathe innovation, challenge the status quo and have the determination and drive that’s seen them achieve phenomenal year-on-year growth,” says Mr Hale.

“A common theme behind their success is the ability to identify and then capitalise on a point of difference from their competitors. They do a specific thing very well and they really try and nail that niche.”

These companies have earned the right to join other high growth companies from around the country at the annual Deloitte Festival of Fast Growth in November, where the final rankings and growth percentages of our national Fast 50 index, plus the national category winners and national Rising Star winner, will be announced.

The Deloitte Festival of Fast Growth is a full-day event where Fast 50 companies will hear from inspirational speakers, network with other winners past and present, interact with industry experts and celebrate their success.

“Tune in on 16 November to find out how the regional category winners place on the national 2016 Deloitte Fast 50 index,” concludes Mr Hale.
