PRESS RELEASE

International publication places Bell Gully as top New Zealand firm

Results from a respected international legal directory confirm Bell Gully has retained its leading position in the New Zealand market.

The IFLR1000 has published its guide to the world's leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers, which ranks Bell Gully as having the most leading lawyers and top-tier practice rankings among the New Zealand firms.

“The results reflect the firm's involvement in some of the biggest and most complex deals in the market,” Bell Gully chairman Chris Gordon commented today. “In an increasingly competitive market, the results also reflect our clients’ confidence in what we do and exemplify the commitment that we have to achieving results for them.”

The latest guide ranked Bell Gully for all four of the practice areas covered in its financial and corporate guide: Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A and Restructuring and Insolvency.

The IFLR1000 also ranked Bell Gully as a top tier firm in Energy and Infrastructure in a separate guide released in June.

With 10 Bell Gully partners currently ranked as leading lawyers in the IFLR1000, Bell Gully remains the firm with the most leading lawyers in New Zealand.

The IFLR1000 research covers over 120 jurisdictions world-wide.
