Kiwi recruitment agency experiences a 146% increase in website visitors from the USA post-election

As New Zealand’s largest privately owned recruitment agency, Beyond Recruitment are used to helping a large number of people to relocate to New Zealand from all over the world, including many from the USA.

The Beyond Recruitment website receives in excess of 30,000 visits every month. However, the day after the US election concluded, visitors from the USA became the second highest traffic source by country (after New Zealand), increasing by 146% on the previous day.

Beyond Recruitment Chief Executive, Liza Viz, states that “this increase in interest in website visitors from the USA isn’t surprising based on the shock results coming out of the United States. Donald Trump being elected as the 45 th President has obviously upset a large number of people to such a point where they’re seriously exploring life in another country.”

Viz went on to comment that “skilled candidates from the United States would be welcomed in New Zealand, especially in areas where we are experiencing consistent skills shortages such as IT & Transformation and Construction & Engineering”.
