Press Release

Monday 19 December 2016

The Alliance group is delighted to announce two significant appointments to both Alliance Health Plus Trust and Alliance Community Initiatives Trust.

Wayne Williams has been appointed the Chief Executive of Alliance Health Plus (AH+) and Rachel Enosa has been appointed the Chief Executive of Alliance Community Initiatives Trust (ACIT).

“Wayne comes to AH+ with a wealth of experience and an impressive set of skills from his career to date. He has more than 20 years working in the health sector, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer / GM Corporate of Midland’s Health Network Ltd, “says Mr Uluomato’otua (Ulu) Aiono, Chairman of AH+.

“AH+ will be in very able hands and I am confident our practice network will continue to strengthen under his leadership,” said Mr Aiono.

Mr Williams has been Interim Chief Executive for the past three months.

Rachel Enosa has also been announced as the inaugural Chief Executive of ACIT.

“The Board of AH+ launched ACIT in July this year with a view to take a more community focused approach to advancing health equity and wellbeing for Pacific, Māori and high needs communities, particularly in South Auckland.

“The Board is confident Rachel will not only grow ACIT but will oversee significant transformational change in the communities ACIT works within’ said Mr Aiono.

Ms Enosa had been a driving force in the establishment of ACIT and has a long and impressive career working in various roles across policy, planning and funding, and with non-profit organisations.

As Chief Executive Officers of their respective organisations within the Alliance group, Mr Williams and Ms Enosa will work closely to improve the effects of systems and interventions in the full health and wellbeing spectrum from social to clinical determinants.
