Celebrity Expert at Upcoming North Shore Home & Garden Show

Organisers of the North Shore Home & Garden Show are pleased to announce that television and radio personality, Resident Builder Peter Wolfkamp, will be a celebrity expert at the show, which opens at the North Shore Events Centre on Friday 10th March. The presence of the building and renovating authority will add a new dimension to the event’s strong focus on home improvement.

Director, Josh Shanley, said “We are very excited to have Resident Builder Peter Wolfkamp as a guest speaker. He will be running a question and answer session in the ‘Ask an Expert’ area at 2.45pm on Saturday and 10.45am on Sunday. The topic will be ‘Renovation Frustration - How to Survive it’. There will be more industry professionals discussing other high-interest topics over the three days, so visitors will have the chance to quiz them about their home improvement projects. We really encourage people to bring along their plans, photos and ideas and to make the most of all the on-site expertise.”

“We have a great line-up of kitchens, builders and spas, plus the latest in gardening, outdoor furniture, bathrooms, renovating and much more. The Kaipara Coast Plant Centre Landscape Design Competition will be judged by Peter Wolfkamp on the Saturday, but there is also a ‘People’s Choice’ award, where visitors can vote for their favourite garden display.”

For three days from 10-12 March, over 220 exhibitors will gather at the North Shore Events Centre to showcase the latest innovations and trends in home improvement, along with numerous show-only specials. The event will provide inspiration, variety and expert advice, all under the one roof.

“We’ve got some clever new products making their debut at the show. These include bespoke bedheads from Furniture Conceptions, where clients can design their own or choose from an exclusive range of one-off designer bedheads. For the first time too, Stu Robbie Landscape Furniture will be displaying his hand-crafted cowhide leather and rope rocking chairs. As far as show-only specials go, there will be heaps of them, but a couple to watch out for are 40% off selected roller blinds from Rollerflex Blinds & Screens Solutions; 20% off irrigation with new lawns from Woolgro; and a free security camera with any security system ordered through CleverLoop”, Mr. Shanley said.
