Three Wins Saturday Night And Announces Married at First Sight NZ

Three won the night on Saturday in the key 25-54 demographic as well as 18-49 with family movie We Bought a Zoo winning its timeslot. The Graham Norton Show also won its timeslot on Friday night in both 25-54 and Household Shoppers with Kids and Sunday evening saw blockbuster premiere Jurassic World win its timeslot across all four demographics.

Earlier in the week, SVU won its timeslot on Tuesday evening in 25-54, 18-39 and 18-49.

MediaWorks also announced that it will be producing New Zealand’s first season of the cult favourite, Married at First Sight. Kiwis have been enthralled with the latest season of the Australian version of the show which has been Three’s highest rated international programme of 2017 - reaching a total audience of over one million people in the key 25-54 demographic and hitting over one million ThreeNow streams. The casting call is now open, with production taking place later this year and the show airing between October – December 2017.

Finally, the 2017 Flick Electric Co. Comedy Gala kicks off this week, hosted by South African / New Zealand comedian Urzila Carlson. Introducing audiences to an electrifying line-up of top-class local and international comedians to celebrate Comedy Festival’s 25th year, the gala will be screened on Friday, April 28th at 9.45pm on Three.
