Eden Park partners with Local Flavour

Eden Park is excited to announce I Love Pies as the official Pie of Eden Park.

Locally based just a couple of streets away from Eden Park, I Love Pies was co-founded by Maree Glading and Jessie Stanley. They both live in Mt Eden with their sports and rugby-mad families, including their boys who play for Eden Rugby Club.

“We are super-excited to be making our pies available to the fans at Eden Park. Eating pies while catching a game is a kiwi tradition in itself, and we are sure spectators will love our delicious fillings and famous pastry made with sour cream and butter,” say Maree Glading and Jessie Stanley.

Eden Park is looking forward to ensuring sports fans keep well-fuelled with these locally sourced delicious gourmet pies from our neighbourhood.

Initially there will be two pies available at the stadium Angus Beef Steak and Rosemary, and Free Range Butter Chicken. More variants will be added throughout 2017 and beyond.

“We are delighted to partner with a local success story like I Love Pies. These products contain high quality New Zealand ingredients and I Love Pies prides themselves on not using any additives. Eden Park is committed to working with our neighbours to source local flavours to enhance the quality options available at the stadium” says Guy Ngata, Chief Executive Officer.
