Kennards Hire Hamilton Wins Gold

Kennards Hire Hamilton Wins Gold

Kennards Hire Hamilton has been honoured with the prestigious Gold Hire Excellence Award by the Hire Industry Association of New Zealand (HIANZ). The branch has been recognised for their outstanding contribution to the hire industry in New Zealand, since opening just over 12 months ago.

With a near perfect total score of 94.3%, Kennards Hire Hamilton has been commended by HIANZ for delivering a strong commitment to their work, exceptional customer service, prominent branding, operational efficiency and adhering to industry best practices.

Steven Nath, Hamilton Branch Manager, accepted the award and said, “Kennards Hire is a long standing family-owned business in Australia, but our presence in New Zealand is much more recent, dating back about five years.”

“Our Hamilton Branch is only a year old, so receiving the Gold Hire Excellence Award from HIANZ is an incredible acknowledgement of our hard work. It really is such a great achievement and I’m so proud of all our team members here,” he said.

With an industry body like HIANZ setting the standard for hire and rental services in New Zealand, it imparts a positive effect on staff morale and business development, giving every company an opportunity to strive for success and be rewarded for their accomplishments.

Phil Tindle, General Manager of HIANZ, congratulated the Hamilton Branch and said, “The team at Kennards Hire Hamilton truly go above and beyond for their customers, which also positively impacts the industry.”

“To win gold in just one year of opening is remarkable.”

After acquiring McEntee Hire five years ago, Kennards Hire worked hard to establish their brand presence in Auckland, and quickly into Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga. Within only three years of expansion into the New Zealand market, Albany was the first Kennards Hire branch to pick up the Gold Hire Excellence Award from HIANZ.

As one of the leading transnational equipment hire groups, Kennards Hire continues to grow and develop in New Zealand. Now with 18 branches across the country, Kennards Hire aims to enhance their service offerings by training staff, investing in new equipment and delivering an outstanding customer service experience.
