Supreme Service Wins Supreme Award for Service Stations

Supreme Service Wins Supreme Award for Service Station Rising Star

Abbin Peter from Z Energy in Christchurch has won the coveted ServiceIQ Up & Coming Retailer Award at the country’s 2017 Top Shop Awards held in Auckland last night.

Abbin is 28 years-old and works at the Carlton Corner Z Energy site owned by popular Christchurch business Hattrick Services Ltd.

He has been fuelling his career over the years by upskilling on the job, and so far the ambitious professional has gained three nationally recognised ServiceIQ retail qualifications.

It was his excellent sales and service know-how combined with a clear commitment to ongoing development, that impressed and finally persuaded the award judges to make him the ultimate award winner.

Standing right beside him on stage was award runner-up Amber Ledingham, who also happens to be Abbin’s colleague on the forecourt at Hattrick Services.

Amber has trained her way up the retail ranks and today, at only 25 years-old, enjoys a high-octane career as Course and Training Manager for 148 staff at Hattrick’s fourteen Z Energy sites around Christchurch.

ServiceIQ Chief Executive Dean Minchington congratulates both Abbin and Amber on their great personal achievement, and their determination and drive to provide excellent customer experiences.
He also highly commends Hattrick Services and Z Energy “for its well-documented commitment to giving so many talented people from all walks of life the vital opportunity to upskill and develop rewarding careers in the workplace.”
