A dedicated team and a new online B2C platform

ID New Zealand is thrilled to announce the launch of a dedicated “Bespoke Journeys” team and a new online B2C platform idnzbespokejourneys.com to support their extended direct to customer service offering for premium travel in New Zealand

Leading the project is new team member and Business Development Manager Emma Bell. Bell brings over 12 years’ experience, working in Australia, London, New Zealand and the United States in business events and the premium New Zealand tourism sector - most recently living in the US promoting New Zealand to North America.

Both Bell and ID New Zealand believe in the importance of establishing strong relationships and share a deep familiarity with and love of New Zealand.

We’re really excited to start promoting the country we love and are passionate about, directly to visitors looking for a bespoke New Zealand travel experience. Our mission is to deliver an experience that is completely in tune with their definition of perfect.” says Bell of her new role, leading and promoting IDNZ’s offerings to the luxury traveler.

Bell is currently launching the project globally at Luxperience in Sydney, Australia on 17 September and ILTM in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on 25 September 2017.

With their 40th Anniversary due next year, ID New Zealand is one of New Zealand’s longest established players in the luxury travel industry. A multi-divisional business, ID New Zealand has been successfully serving the needs of the industry across the Cruise and Incentive Travel sectors, as well as providing exclusive itineraries and travel for private clients with increasing frequency.

The decision to create a formal structure and launch a new customer facing online platform to promote the direct-to-market offering was motivated by increased customer demand.

“We know the destination, we know the product and we know service.” says ID New Zealand’s Managing Director, Jeremy Palmer. “It’s a natural progression for us, driven by customer demand. At ID New Zealand, we truly are experts in New Zealand. We focus exclusively on this country and have the resources to ensure every single journey is unique and planned just for that guest.”

Palmer credits the rising demand for bespoke travel services from end-user customers as part of the changing landscape of tourism around the world, citing the well-established reputation of ID New Zealand and existing relationships within the industry as critical to the success of the new Bespoke Journeys arm of the business. Importantly, the venture also represents a new level of co-operation with UK-based partners Paul Carberry and Sally Lilley of New Zealand In Depth.

“We have worked with Paul for many years and benefitted from his growth in both the UK and US premium markets. We see this venture as an extension of the working relationship and as a way to support and extend the New Zealand In Depth success.” says Palmer.

The new Bespoke Journey’s team benefit from the support of the existing IDNZ business infrastructure and network which covers the country, meaning they can offer around the clock service and support for their guests throughout their New Zealand experience.

Our guests rely on our complete discretion and ability to provide a seamless bespoke travel experience. says Bell “We don’t believe in a one-size-fits all approach. Our mission is to understand each client’s unique preferences and requirements and then use our insider knowledge to help create an unforgettable journey for them that creatively showcases the very best New Zealand has to offer.”
