Greenhouse & FluentIQ Partnership Integration

FluentIQ, an innovative startup out of Christchurch, New Zealand, today announced its partnership integration with Greenhouse, the fastest-growing provider of talent acquisition software.

FluentIQ has developed disruptive technology that enables an assessment of someone’s English language communication abilities in a real-world context. Designed for application in the talent industry, FluentIQ helps individuals stand out from the crowd and avoid bias when applying for jobs. It also helps organizations increase diversity and make low-risk hiring decisions.

“It’s incredible to be able to bring technology like this to the table. Coming from a background in talent sourcing myself, I quickly saw the growing need for such a tool within a corporate solutions suite. I am extremely pleased with our latest partnership with Greenhouse as many of our customers can now easily include our test in key hiring decisions,” says Andy McLeod, Director of Sales at FluentIQ.

With the globalization of the workforce and an ever-expanding access to a diverse talent pool, meaningful ways in which to quickly and accurately assess a candidate's English language communication is becoming paramount to recruiters. The partnership integration with Greenhouse has allowed recruiters to seamlessly incorporate the FluentIQ test into their hiring process.

“Unbiased, accurate, and reliable testing for specific skills can be challenging, especially for language competency. We're excited to be partnering with FluentIQ to provide communication competency testing within our integration ecosystem,” said Dane Hurtubise, VP of Platform and Partnerships at Greenhouse.

The online, one-hour test assesses the four key competencies of speaking, listening, writing and reading and provides an overall score of combined abilities alongside a compartmentalized breakdown. Employers are quickly able to see where abilities align within a role and acknowledge potential for development within existing teams. The certificate is purely electronic with an embedded video providing a snapshot of the candidate answering questions. Strict security features ensure that the certification cannot be gamed.
