MyCarYourRental Passes Milestone of 1000 cars for rent

MyCarYourRental Passes Milestone of 1000 cars for rent just before the High Season

New Zealand car sharing platform features more cars than ever before

DECEMBER 8th. 2017 - MyCarYourRental has just passed a milestone: More than 1000 cars are now listed for rent by private Kiwis all across New Zealand.

It’s taken me just over a year to reach this momentous milestone - and with summer coming and the rush of tourists about to hit New Zealand our owner won’t have any shortage of demand for their cars.

I, Henrik Stovring, launched MyCarYourRental in February last year. The interest has been totally overwhelming. I did not imagine that I would get such a great support from fellow Kiwis. Peer to Peer car rental has really taken off and there is no doubt that Kiwis are happy to rent out their cars and that they are happy to do it the Kiwi way.

The Phenomenal growth rate of our small operation with no backing from others with capital interest, proves that Kiwis are some of the most supportive people in the world. I haven’t seen other examples elsewhere in the sharing economy where a person with a sole operation has gained so much support, it is nothing but awesome.

MyCarYourRental is built around giving back to the community and that’s also why it makes me so proud to say that by running the site with low cost and little staff I’m able to give car owners an average return of more than 70% - that’s a lot more than any of our competitors and may also be a factor why I get such great support.

MyCarYourRental has also had thousands of rentals through since the launch, see some quotes further down in this release. Generally our renters are extremely pleased with the service that the concept provides and this comes at an obviously lower price on a lot of vehicles. Not only does private car rental have the right price for the renter, it also offers unique products. Where else can you go to rent a brand new Teslas, Toyota Wish in 10 different colours, several models of Porsches and a 1971 Commer Campervan at the same site - nowhere!

In the future MyCarYourRental.com will continue to grow and offer Kiwis a unique, safe way to rent out their cars and at the same time offer renters a different way to experience car rental and get local advice. With the continuous development of new features the 1000 listed cars are just the beginning and MyCarYourRental will remain the preferred platform for renting private cars in across the country.

What is MyCarYourRental?

MyCarYourRental.com is a 100% Kiwi owned and operated Peer to Peer car rental site. Launched for rentals in 2017 I’ve seen an exponential interest in the sharing economy and peer to peer car rental. When a car is listed through the site it is rented out in a safe environment where renters are screened before pick-up and vehicles has to undergo the same process as a traditional rental car.

MyCarYourRental.com is build for Kiwis to ensure that when they rent out their second most expensive asset they will get the biggest possible return.
