Open for Longer: Westfield Announces Extended Christmas Trading Hours Across NZ Centres

From Thursday 14th December, shoppers in New Zealand will have more time to get their Christmas shopping done at a time convenient to them with the return of extended trading hoursand midnight shopping across Westfield centres.

Linda Trainer, NZ Regional Manager, Centre Experience, Scentre Group, said “Christmas is our busiest time of year and we’re expecting hundreds of thousands of people through our doors, shopping for gifts, fresh food and gift cards, especially in the last few days before Christmas Day.

To help with this we are giving people more time to shop with closing later from December 14, offering flexibility for customers who are looking to shop at time that suits them best.”

Extended trading hours in New Zealand:

Extended trade: Thursday 14th – Sunday 24th December

• All centres across the country will be open for longer during this period (Albany, Manukau City, Newmarket, St Lukes & Riccarton)
•
• Monday 18th - Wednesday 20th December open 9am until 10pm every day for Auckland centres (Albany, Manukau City, Newmarket, St Lukes)
•
• Monday 18th – Sunday 24th December open 9am until 10pm every day for Riccarton
•

Midnight trading: Thursday 21st December – Saturday 23rd December

• Westfield Albany, Manukau City and St Lukes 9am until midnight
•
Late Night Shopping: Friday 22nd December and Saturday 23rd December

• Westfield Newmarket 9am until 9pm
•
• Westfield Riccarton 9am until 10pm
•
The night before Christmas centres open 9am – 6pm with the exception of Albany 8am – 6pm
