APEC Advertising Standards Conference
In August, ASA Chief Executive Hilary Souter attended the APEC Advertising Standards Conference held alongside the APEC Senior Officials Meetings in Ho Chi Minh City. She presented on the set up and governance of a self-regulatory organisation and on the new Children and Young People’s Advertising Code. The event brought together more than sixty stakeholders, including government officials from a number of the Pacific Rim economies which make up the APEC region alongside representatives from the global advertising industry and APEC self-regulatory organisations (SROs).

Note that our office is closed over the holiday period from 21 December, reopening 3 January 2018. Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful break over the summer period.
