Coast Adds FM Frequency in Manawatu

Coast Adds FM Frequency in Manawatu

26 January 2018 – NZME has announced Coast has added a FM frequency in Manawatu, and will now be on 105.8FM in addition to its 1548AM frequency.

Radio Hauraki was previously on the frequency and will move to 87.6FM. Both stations are available in crystal clear digital sound on iHeartRadio.

Coast plays superstar classic hits including Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, The Eagles, Queen and Elton John, and brings the best music, interviews with intriguing guests, and news and entertainment updates to listeners.

Coast Content Director, Raylene Ramsay, is pleased to be bringing the station to an FM frequency. “We have a wonderful group of listeners in Manawatu and we’re excited to make Coast more accessible by giving them an FM option in addition to their familiar AM spot. We’ve started this year with a fantastic new line up; Bernadine Oliver-Kerby and Jason Reeves are hosting the Breakfast show, and Jason ‘JT’ Tikao has taken over the Drive show. Along with Lorna Subritzky on Days and Rick Morin on Nights, we have an outstanding team and we’re looking forward to reaching more Coast listeners in Manawatu.”

Coast and Radio Hauraki can be heard on their new frequencies from Monday January 29 January and in crystal clear digital sound on iHeartRadio.
