Misty Cove Wines is pushing the boundaries one can at a time

Once written off as a passing fad, canned wines have taken the world by storm and it’s clear that the trend is here to stay. Ditch the snob factor of a classic bottle or glass and embrace the Kiwi lifestyle with wine in a can from Misty Cove.

Misty Cove is anything but predictable and now they’re trailblazing by being New Zealand’s first on premise wine in a can offering. Canned wine is for good times and good company, which is something that Misty Cove definitely embodies. Celebrating their loveable rogue persona they are embracing music from every genre, to help fuel the good times with their great selection of wines.

To mark the launch of their creatively, characterised, canned wine into on premise bars this summer, Misty Cove is bringing the Misty Cove Wine Garden, to The Lula Inn in Auckland from 1 February, and Engineers in Christchurch from 1 March.

Alongside these month-long kiwi summer celebrations, where the wine and good times will be flowing, they’re putting on two epic events. On 23 February, Misty will be in sure supply at The Lula Inn with acclaimed Australian DJ Tigerlily performing alongside familiar home-grown talent such as Jupiter Project, Zeisha, Karn Hall and surprise special guests. Those in the South Island can get in on the action on 16 March at Engineers in Christchurch, where well-known Kiwi artists Jupiter Project, P-Money and PDigsss from Shapeshifter are performing.

Misty Cove founder Andrew Bailey says, “We like to push the boundaries with everything we do at Misty Cove, from making wine more accessible and challenging convention, to producing Misty Music events. We see them as a great way to create awesome experiences for our customers whilst showcasing our award-winning range of wines, available across two garden bar locations for the duration of February and March.”

Two events surely not to be missed, Misty Cove invites you to drink to any occasion in both Auckland and Christchurch. But if you want to be shown an even better time, get your tickets before they’re gone, available on iticket.co.nz (Auckland) and theticketfairy.com (Christchurch).
