A rising star in the steel building industry

Coresteel Buildings Central Plateau is in full flight, with the team winning the Rising Star Award and for the second year in a row, the Marketing Excellence Award.

The awards were received by directors Logan Frew and Lee Parker-Frew at the annual Coresteel Buildings National Conference, held 7-8 March in Whangarei.

Coresteel Buildings specialise in the design, manufacture and construction of steel buildings.

During the past two years, the team has gone from strength to strength in the Central Plateau/Rotorua region.

“Central Plateau are benefitting from their heavy marketing and project delivery strategy. This has resulted in focal builds that we are proud to call Coresteel buildings. Logan and Lee have more great projects coming up in 2018,” says Haemish Reid, General Manager, Coresteel Buildings.

Since entering the market in 2015, Coresteel Central Plateau has worked on major commercial builds for Mainfreight, Apex Windows, Fonterra, Te Puia and Haimes Building Ltd, alongside a number of other commercial and rural builds.

“Over the past year we’ve had the pleasure of working with a great team of contractors, which has set us up to grow further in the years to come and it’s amazing for this to be recognised with the Rising Star Award,” says Lee Parker-Frew, Director, Coresteel Buildings Central Plateau.

The team were also humbled to have won the Marketing Excellence Award. “Marketing isn’t about doing just one event, one sponsorship or one advertisement, it’s a combination of a variety of initiatives working together. We’ve made an extra effort to consistently cover all our bases and the award has really confirmed for us that we’re on the right track.”

Logan has been in the construction industry for over 15 years. He came across Coresteel Building while looking for a new business direction and liked Coresteel’s innovative approach to steel building construction.

The couple has strong roots in the region. Lee was born and bred in Taupo, while Logan grew up in Reporoa.
