Abley Formed From Two Companies

As of 1 May 2018, Abley Transportation Consultants and Interpret Geospatial Solutions are moving forward as one brand, Abley.

With a legacy of expertise in the transportation and geospatial sectors, this diverse professional services company has repositioned themselves as one unified brand.

David Pimblott, Abley Chair explains: “While acknowledging the complexity of what we do, and without compromising on any of our services, we have decided to retire both our Abley Transportation Consultants and Interpret Geospatial Solutions brands, and together create one, stronger brand: Abley.”

Over the last twelve months the Board and Management team have undertaken a review of both brands. This involved engaging with both staff and clients to assess brand perceptions, operational realities, and to ensure synergy with the strategic direction for the business.

“This work highlighted the mixed messaging about our two separate brands. We are evolving to create clarity for our clients, staff and stakeholders. We want to facilitate a better understanding of our entire set of services and expertise and this new brand allows us to do that.”

The new Abley brand is fresh, professional and contemporary, and reflects a strategic drive for unification, wider service offerings and continued growth. With offices in Auckland and Christchurch, and a portfolio of national and international clients, Abley are confidently moving forward.

It is business as usual for the team of nearly 50 employees. As David confirms: “Our new, singular brand, Abley, is simply a continuation of everything we’re known for – exceptional skills, comprehensive professional services, a culture of great work and great people, with a mission to enhance and improve the world we live in.”
