Microsoft announces 2018 New Zealand Partner Awards winners

Outstanding Microsoft New Zealand Partners recognised in new look awards

New Zealand, 10pm, 21 June 2018 – Microsoft New Zealand has celebrated its outstanding local business partners at the 11th annual Microsoft Partner Awards.

The Microsoft New Zealand Partner Awards recognise innovative partners who are demonstrating inventive use of digital technology, with the awards open to all Microsoft partners big and small. The streamlined ceremony saw the awards pivot to a greater focus on customers.

This year’s winners include Lexel Systems for their innovative approach to My Food Bag in the Modern Workplace category. And Theta, a New Zealand-based IT consultancy, winning the Cloud for Good Award for their use of Office 365 in collaboration with Emerge Aotearoa, a charitable community health provider.

Another key winner was Datacom for its exceptional Tourism New Zealand solution, which leveraged Cloud technology to promote the Land of the Long White Cloud. The solution empowered Tourism New Zealand's employees to promote beautiful Aotearoa more easily no matter where they are.

Phil Goldie, Microsoft New Zealand One Commercial Partner Director says, “This year the judges were incredibly impressed by the high calibre of entries. It was a genuine challenge to pick the winners in so many closely contested categories. The winners truly showed a range of Microsoft Partners who are delivering excellent solutions and innovations that are optimising businesses as well as improving people’s lives.”
