Internal talent recognised with country-leadership role

Auckland, NZ (05 July 2018)

Ralph Fouche has been named Country Manager for Stantec New Zealand, accountable for their operations, financial performance, and overseeing community engagement activities.

‘I am thrilled to have this opportunity to support our talented team in New Zealand,’ says Ralph Fouche. ‘We have 16 offices across the country so how we connect with communities will remain key to continuing our growth.’

With over 30 years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects, Ralph has spent a good portion of his career collaborating with clients to deliver outstanding project outcomes. He is a NZ Chartered Professional Engineer with a background in managing projects across NZ and more recently in business management.

Ralph’s governance experience extends to serving many years on alliance leadership teams and as a past board member of Engineering NZ and IPWEA NZ. He also brings management experience gained from leading business units and as Stantec’s former Strategy, Marketing & Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

‘Ralph has been running our trans-Tasman sales and marketing programmes for the last three years,’ says Managing Director for ANZ, Mark Bruzzone. ‘His appointment to a country leadership role not only demonstrates our commitment to New Zealand but celebrates his achievements in gaining the respect of our people, our clients and the communities where we live and work.’

As Country Manager, Ralph will create a growth plan for Stantec New Zealand and strategically position the business with regard to economic and market trends.
