Auldhouse an NZ AWS Authorised Training Delivery Partner

MEDIA RELEASE

Auldhouse becomes an AWS Authorised Training Delivery Partner in New Zealand

Auckland – 26 July 2018: Premier cloud training provider Auldhouse announced today it has achieved accreditation as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Authorised Training Delivery Partner in New Zealand. The accreditation will play a key role in supporting New Zealand organisations to enable their staff to use AWS to remediate technical debt, drive innovation and take their businesses global, at scale.

Auldhouse will offer AWS classes from August at its training centres in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, making this the first time authorised AWS training is delivered in the South Island. Auldhouse is also the only authorised AWS testing centre in New Zealand where trainees can sit their exams for AWS certification regardless of where and when they completed their training.

This accreditation further establishes Auldhouse as a premier AWS Cloud training provider in the country, says managing director, Melanie Hobcraft.

"Being appointed an Authorised Training Delivery Partner in New Zealand solidifies our position as a true cloud training provider," says Hobcraft. "From their first introduction to AWS all the way through to their certification, customers can complete their AWS training and certification at Auldhouse. Our courses will be led by our very own instructors, who are among the most experienced cloud trainers in the country," says Hobcraft.

In addition, Auldhouse is also the authorised local training provider for Red Hat and VMware, which are global Technology Partners of AWS.

"Being an Authorised Training Delivery Partner for AWS, as well as its vendor partners Red Hat and VMware, is of great benefit to our customers. They can obtain their training in all of these platforms from a single trusted provider and rest assured we have full knowledge of how these services work together," says Hobcraft.

Tim Dacombe-Bird, AWS New Zealand country manager, says: “There is an unprecedented demand from our customers and partners in New Zealand for employees with AWS Cloud skills, to help organisations from all sectors of industry drive innovation and in many cases, use AWS to help take their businesses global. In that context, the AWS training and certification programs which Auldhouse will deliver is a critically important development.”

Having developed a large and loyal customer base with 30 years in the training business is a major source of earned trust for their customers, says Hobcraft.

"We have been providing training in cloud services since their inception and continue to meet all of the training needs of our partners and customers no matter the platform or technology. Therefore, our customers are excited to have AWS training available from their most trusted learning partner."

AWS courses will also be provided through Auldhouse's live online training service, Auldhouse Anywhere. This makes AWS training accessible to IT professionals and organisations anywhere in the country, while providing a cost-effective and flexible training option.

Auldhouse will offer the following AWS Cloud Practitioner and Associate Level Certification courses:
