Gas welcomes another 24/7 Service Station in Hamilton

GAS has opened the doors to its newest site on Te Rapa Road in Hamilton today, bringing another 24/7 service station to the local area. The station is the latest to accept the new GAS UP app, allowing customers to fill up quickly and easily at any time of day or night without needing to go into the shop.

GAS Te Rapa Road is owned by Ravi and Sudha Tiku who are highly experienced fuel station operators. The couple will be having a sausage sizzle at the service station on Friday to celebrate the opening and to raise funds for Cure Kids. They will also be offering a number of customer prize draws and specials throughout the week, including the chance to win an OnGas BBQ.

Te Rapa Road is the fifth Hamilton service station for GAS, a 100% New Zealand owned company with almost 130 petrol stations using its brand around the country.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer another option for customers wanting to fill up at GAS,” says GAS Managing Director, Tim Ellis. “Te Rapa Road is imminently to become a 24/7 service station, allowing customers to top up from their car using the GAS UP app. This makes it a great choice for drivers travelling early in the morning or late at night. For those that don’t simply want to fuel up and go, there is also a well-stocked convenience store with all of the essentials, including coffee and hot food.”

Ravi and Sudha are looking forward to welcoming drivers to the new service station.

“We’re very excited to be here. The service station is in a really good spot and we think it will be a useful stop for both locals and those passing through Hamilton,” says Ravi. “We’re looking forward to providing a great service to our customers, as well as bringing some employment opportunities to the local area.”
