MOJ strike action in Wellington

PSA members have voted on a ‘lightning strike’ this morning at the Ministry of Justice head office at 19 Aitken Street.

This will be first time that an action has taken place on the Ministry’s head office doorstep, with picketing planned from 11-11.30am.

The action is nationwide between 11am and 12 noon, with workers exiting work sites for an hour at the following (23) locations:

Whangarei District Court, Auckland District Court Auckland High Court Waitakere District Court Manukau District Court North Shore District Court Hamilton District and High Courts Tauranga District Court Rotorua District Court Palmerston North District Court New Plymouth District Court Napier District Court Hastings District Court Gisborne District Court Whanganui District Court Porirua District Court Hutt Valley District Court Wellington District Court Wellington High Court Nelson District Court Christchurch District and High Court Dunedin District Court Invercargill District Court
