He said Tainui Holdings, as the winner of the Judges’ Choice Award, had long-term objectives built into its whole philosophy. “One of the reasons Tainui can achieve the kind of development it undertakes is because it does not necessarily seek short-term returns.”

A team of judges comprising members of Property Council’s Waikato Branch and non-members in the business community undertook a judging process with strict criteria.

Property Council Waikato Branch President Graham Dwyer said the winners were all helping to create a more inspiring and innovative Waikato. “The judging team faced some high-quality finalists to choose from, but the result was a line-up of award winners that consistently go the extra mile in what they do.

“I am delighted to provide an opportunity for this talent and success to be recognised, both in the industry and the wider business community. All finalists deserve high praise and a chance to celebrate their achievements.”
