Electrolux to serve up delights at Auckland Seafood Festival

As part of their ongoing dedication to the New Zealand food scene, Electrolux are back on board in 2013 as Major Sponsor of the Auckland Seafood Festival.

Now in its seventh year, this weekend’s Auckland Seafood Festival promises to be better than ever and Electrolux is pulling out all the stops to give festival goers a taste sensation.

Both Electrolux Restaurant Alley, situated within the Metro Dine on Dockside, and the Electrolux Cooking Theatre will give festival goers the opportunity to watch Electrolux premium cooking products in action as top chefs create culinary delights on their BBQ’s and induction hobs.

The Electrolux Restaurant Alley will feature top Auckland Restaurants such as Kermadec, Katsura and Monsoon Poon, showcasing their signature dishes for as little as $8. The premium area will also include dedicated seating for those dining - what better way to try some of the city’s best eateries in one go?

If learning how the greats do it is more your speed, the Electrolux Auckland Seafood School will be holding free cooking demonstrations every hour from 11.30am. With a sensational line up of top New Zealand Chefs including Brett McGregor (NZ Masterchef) and festival ambassador, Nicki Wickes (World Kitchen), Jeremy Schmidt (Two Fifteen), Luca Villari (Eden Cloakroom) and Marco Edwardes (Te Whau Vineyard, Waiheke). The demonstrations will take 40 minutes and showcase a different recipe each session.
