CDHB launches exciting new website

CDHB launches exciting new website

Canterbury District Health Board’s (CDHB) exciting new careers website www.cdhbcareers.co.nz has gone live today.

The website is designed to appeal to people looking to live and work in Canterbury.

Allan McGilvray, CDHB and West Coast District Health Board General Manager Human Resources, says the website focuses on capturing what interests the job seeker through illustrating the benefits and opportunities of working within the Canterbury Health System.

“It showcases our way of working by highlighting the innovative, collaborative approach that the Canterbury Health System is known for,” Allan says.

The site is made up of a series of sub-sites, which each have a different look and feel tailored specifically to the professional audience, he says.

“It shows the range of jobs that we offer and some provide information for students about possible future careers they might want to consider, as well as offering information to current experts in their fields.”

Other information on the new website includes:

• What it’s like moving and living in Canterbury, NZ – including post-earthquake
• Information on the Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB)
• Details about specific professions, roles and opportunities
• Links to relevant information about training and professional bodies
• How to job search and apply for jobs at CDHB
• Videos of current staff talking about our way of working and the different roles in the Canterbury Health System.

The sites will be constantly updated with new videos, information relevant to specific professional groups and new recruitment campaigns.
