Queue in style with Vodafone’s VIP treatment
Technology lovers wanting to be among the first in New Zealand to get their hands on the latest iPhones will be treated as VIPs at Vodafone’s launch party. Vodafone will be selling the iPhone 5s and iPhone5c from 12.01am Friday, 25 October, and is hosting a Pyjama Party with a host of well-known faces, from 8am Thursday 24 October.
The first 18 purchasers to register at Vodafone’s Viaduct Harbour offices will be allocated their own VIP tent with butler service, refreshments, a survival kit and priority service. VIPs will be treated to a range of activities throughout the day – including a BBQ with the Vodafone Warriors and a jet boat ride on Auckland Harbour.
To avoid queue fatigue, entertainment is being provided by a range of sports and media personalities, as well as live performances from Titanium, Jupiter Project and DJ Thieves.
Those officially registered in Vodafone’s queue to purchase an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c will also go in the draw to win a trip for four to Rhythm and Alps in Queenstown, including flights and accommodation. Terms and conditions apply.
Launch events for the new iPhones will also be held in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin from 6pm on Thursday 24 October.
