Celebrate The Year of The Horse

Celebrate The Year of The Horse

(Auckland – January 17, 2014)

The Langham Auckland is giving diners the chance to celebrate New Year all over again with a special two-week festival of food and decorations to celebrate Chinese New Year. Eight is welcoming The Year of the Horse with a delicious display of the finest cuisine from January 25 to February 13.

Exotic red lanterns and beautiful Chinese music will set the scene while diners enjoy a feast of seafood, noodles, dumplings, dim sum and exquisite desserts and pastries as many times as they wish. A wonderful personal degustation experience made from the freshest ingredients awaits each and every person.

Diners can select a cut of the best meat available and have it cooked to their taste at the grill, explore the exotic flavours of the Indian and Asian kitchens, celebrate the sea’s bounty at the seafood bar, enjoy freshly prepared sushi and sashimi made to order then indulge their sweet-tooth with exquisite cheese, desserts and pastries. The indulgent chocolate fountain with fruit and marshmallow dippers is not to be missed either.

People say 'horses' love crowds, so gather your loved ones and celebrate the New Year in style at Eight.
