AUCKLAND, NZ – The Table Club, a global network aimed at bringing together family offices and ultra-high net worth individuals, officially announced its first-ever exclusive New Zealand event – a private lunch at Hurakia Lodge with guest speaker, Justin Rockefeller.
The invite-only event, on Monday 13 April, will see high net worth New Zealanders come together as The Table Club looks to expand its global network.
Mr. Rockefeller, fifth generation of the Rockefeller family, is a New York-based entrepreneur, impact investor, and board member of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF). He will address guests on the global benefits of impact investing.
“Justin Rockefeller, a member of The Table Club, is a next generation thinker. He has a view that you can both make a difference and deliver a profit, and we are honoured he has accepted our invitation to speak at our first New Zealand event while he is in the country,” said James Burkitt, CEO and founder of The Table Club.
“The Table Club is already involved with a handful of New Zealand families on a global level. Through this event – and many more to come – we are thrilled at the prospect of meeting other like-minded people who are interested in working together towards a common purpose.”
Founded in Australia in 2009, The Table Club has established chapters in eight regions of the world including Europe, North America, Latin America, Singapore, India, Israel and Hong Kong, with plans for future expansion. The organisation regularly holds events designed to spark conversation and encourage networking, idea generating and co-investing at a global and local level.
The Table Club recently announced a partnership with Le Club B, a members-only global networking platform to exchange investment ideas in a non-commercial environment. The merging of the two groups brings together more than 850 families forming a truly global ultra-high net worth network.
