Motorhome Republic to hide stashes of cash in campervans

Motorhome Republic to hide stashes of cash in campervan rentals around New Zealand this summer

Travellers setting out to explore New Zealand by motorhome this summer could get quite a pleasant surprise as they begin their road trip. Rental agency Motorhome Republic has plans to hide five stashes of NZD$1,000 in five different rentals around the country to be discovered on pick up by travellers who book through their website MotorhomeRepublic.com or with one of their team of phone consultants.

The “Stash of Cash” promotion applies to bookings made during the entire month of September 2016, for pick ups during January, February or March of next year. Anyone planning a summer road trip around New Zealand should think about heading over to Motorhome Republic to browse the options available this month to be in to win! The company offers rental options from a range of different suppliers and vehicles around New Zealand and the globe - so there will be something for every road tripper, from small sleepervans suitable for intrepid couples or singles to mammoth 6-berths with room for the whole family.

General Manager Phil Wright commented, “New Zealand is just about the perfect setting for an unforgettable and amazing road trip. From majestic mountains to charming coastlines and a whole lot of things to do and see in between, it’s a playground for travellers. We want to encourage people from all over the world to get down here and take it in, and we’re hoping that the prospect of a little pot of gold in their motorhome rental might do the trick.”

An extra $1,000 in spending money could translate into one or more of many experiences on offer in New Zealand. Winners might choose to grab a surf lesson or two in beach haven Raglan, enjoy a wine tasting with a view in beautiful Hawke’s Bay, or partake in one of the many adrenaline-inducing adventures in and around Queenstown. The extra cash could buy a lot of oysters in Bluff at the southerly tip of New Zealand, some whale watching in Kaikoura or supplies for a few days spent conquering one of the many “Great Walks” to be found in the country’s most scenic national parks.

Those looking for inspiration can take advantage of Motorhome Republic’s New Zealand itineraries, which give in-depth suggestions and directions for a range of different trips of varying lengths. Travellers will find helpful itineraries which explore various parts of the North and South islands or both, including a comprehensive Auckland to Queenstown route, several round trips from Auckland and an in-depth Nelson to Dunedin journey which takes in the amazing Milford Sound, among many other great road trip ideas.
