On-demand Alcohol delivery service to launch in Auckland

Bevee, an on-demand alcohol delivery service, to launch in Auckland

Bevee, an on-demand alcohol delivery service, is set to launch in central Auckland suburbs on the 2nd of December. The new service will enable customers to receive their favourite beverage within an hour of placing their order online.

Founded by three entrepreneurs Jack Price (20), Jordan Jennings (21), and Hugh Blackburne (21), the service has ambitions to expand quickly beyond its initial operating area in Central Auckland. The initial service area encompasses the suburbs of Parnell, Remuera, Greenlane and Epsom.

When asked where the idea originated, co-founder Jack Price responded, “We identified a gap in the market as the economy is becoming increasingly ‘on-demand’. We are taking some of the hassles out of a customer’s busy life, allowing them to relax and ‘enjoy the moment’.”

The online store, www.bevee.co.nz, will feature a full range of premium beers, wines and spirits at similar prices to those found in stores. The company has developed industry leading risk reduction policies through the application of modern technology alongside the implementation of strong in-house policies and procedures. This has allowed the company to create a service that exceeds our legal expectations and is an enjoyable experience for customers.

Bevee Director, Hugh Blackburne, said of the launch, “It has had phenomenal success overseas and we can finally give the people of Auckland the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of having drinks delivered to their doorstep. We see it as extremely positive that the decision to drink in the safety and comfort of your own home is becoming an easier decision to make.”

Company co-founder and Head of Staffing; Jordan Jennings is looking forward to getting started - “Many hours have been put into crafting the perfect service for customers and it will be great to see that hard work pay off as our team of highly trained drivers hit the road.”
