IDC New Zealand Appoints Iggy Pintado as Managing Director

IDC Australia and New Zealand Appoints Iggy Pintado as Managing Director

SYDNEY, August 16th, 2017 – IDC has appointed experienced marketing and sales executive, Iggy Pintado, as its Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately. He will proactively promote the local team of industry analysts and consulting talent in Australia and New Zealand, complementing IDC's international research expertise. Iggy replaces Ullrich Loeffler, who is pursuing other interests.

Iggy was most recently Head of Marketing at SAS Australia and New Zealand. He has held senior management and executive positions in enterprise sales, marketing, digital management, communications and business operations at IBM, Telstra, UXC Connect and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is the author of Connected Generation, and is one of the region’s most digitally connected business strategists and a recognised thought leader in digital and innovation business initiatives.

He will report directly to IDC Asia Pacific’s Managing Director, Eva Au, who said of the appointment, “Organisations are increasingly searching for insights from the wealth of data available to them. Iggy will lead IDC’s unrivaled global coverage with regional and local presence, knowledge, expertise and support in Australia and New Zealand to deliver insightful analysis and credible forecasts to help customers deliver sound business strategies.”

Peter Wise, Country Manager of IDC New Zealand, will continue in his role reporting into Iggy.
