Sileni Seasonal Releases Hit the Market in Time for Summer

Sileni Seasonal Releases Hit the Market in Time for Summer

With summer lurking on our doorstep, what better way to welcome in the warmer weather than with the launch of Sileni Estates much anticipated, seasonal release bottles?

Wrapped in beautifully designed sleeves, the seasonal release range features a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Hawke’s Bay Pinot Noir and to get the celebrations underway, a Sparkling Hawke’s Bay Pinot Gris.

The packaging design was developed by award-winning London design house, BD Creative. Inspired by the Sileni story, the bottles feature artworks of delectable, summer-inspired, New Zealand cuisine accompanied with food-friendly wines.

“Sileni Estates takes its name from the Sileni, companions of Dionysus in classical Greek mythology. Their purpose was to encourage the enjoyment of delicious food, great wine, and social interaction. Wine is sometimes taken too seriously, but this packaging is all about celebrating and enjoying the fabulous food and wine we have available to us in New Zealand,” says Sileni CEO Nigel Avery.

The Sileni seasonal sleeves are available from October in New Zealand and have an RRP of $19.99.

About Sileni Estates

In ancient Greece the Sileni were companions of Dionysus, the god of good things - wine, vineyards and theatre. Named in their honour, Sileni Estates stands for great food, great wine and great company. The first vintage was in 1998 and since then Sileni wines have won world-wide acclaim for their food-friendly wine style.

The Sileni winery is based in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand’s oldest wine region. The company has vineyard plantings in the Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough and is one of the largest family-owned wine producers in New Zealand.
