Over the past 12 months OFBC has undergone a major brand refresh, built a state-of-the-art $10m factory, produced three new products, improved its manufacturing processes and expanded its export business. Later this year, OFBC will open a new café and retail outlet at the company’s headquarters. The new venture will double as a test kitchen where customers can provide feedback on new recipes.

OFBC competed against five other finalists in their category and over 60 finalists in the overall awards which were held at SkyCity Hotel Auckland. The NZFAs celebrate the creativity, innovation and excellence and new initiatives in food and beverage production and manufacturing, identifying company leaders who inspire others to meet standards of excellence as well as the creative work of product innovators in packaging design, nutrition, enterprise, food safety and quality.
