Construction’s Future Leaders Battle It Out for Top Spot!

Construction’s Future Leaders Battle It Out for Top Spot!

The tools will be out this Friday as New Zealand’s top ten carpentry apprentices battle it out to become the Registered Master Builders CARTERS 2017 Apprentice of the Year.

The judges will be watching as the regional finalists’ skills are put to the test during the six-hour practical challenge. Media, family and friends are urged to come along and show their support for the apprentices at The ASB Showgrounds between 8am and 1pm this Friday 3 November.

The winner of the competition will be announced that evening, at a gala dinner hosted by Mike Puru.

This year the competition is taking place alongside the Auckland Build Expo, which brings together industry professionals and leaders from across the construction sector.

Key representatives from the building and construction industry will be attending to support the apprentices as they begin to make their mark on the industry.
